Strathcona
Nothing to hide and everything to find.
The business community here is industrious, adaptive, and built on a foundation of sleeves rolled up and getting work done.
Here, people work with their hands and technology to create and build the things the city needs to survive and thrive — from the food we eat to clothing we wear. It’s also where people can get their brake pads and rotors replaced. Or where they commission artworks. Or learn to use a 3D printer. Or produce an album. We’ve got plenty of cool places to grab a great meal, enjoy a locally roasted coffee, pick-up a six pack, or just discover something out of the ordinary.

Strathcona History
The currents of cultural history run criss-cross, deep, and dynamic through what is now called Strathcona. For millennia, the land was inhabited by Coast Salish First Nations. Burrard Inlet was home to many Indigenous communities — hundreds of years before working-class European, Asian, and African people settled the first residential neighbourhood of Vancouver.
