Member Programs.
Access the services you need.
Our member programs are available to all SBIA members. They’re here to help members address safety concerns, assist with property maintenance, improve cleanliness and sanitation across the district, and more. Not sure if you’re an SBIA member?
Property owner’s of class-5 or class-6 commercial properties that fall within the Strathcona boundaries, or tenants of those properties with a valid business license, are members of the SBIA. Check to see if you fall in our boundaries. Type the street address of your business or property below.

Safe & Welcoming Grant
We’ve launched a Safe & Welcoming Grant to help businesses and property owners make safety and beautification investments that create a more safe and welcoming community for all.
The goals of this program are to help SBIA members make permanent or semi-permanent investments to their businesses and properties, help reduce the financial burden of these improvements, attract customers and visitors to the area, and invest in placemaking.
Street Cleaning
We partner with Mission Possible and United We Can to provide weekday street cleaning. These partnerships make a positive impact by creating inclusive job opportunities for people in our community. Different teams work every weekday to keep our streets clean and free of litter, small debris and needles. 100s of bags of litter and needles are removed every month across the district of Strathcona.

Graffiti Removal
We partner with Goodbye Graffiti to provide graffiti removal services on member properties. Over 600 graffiti tags are removed each month through this program. SBIA members receive unlimited free removals for all private property graffiti tags 12 feet and under. Goodbye Graffiti patrols the entire SBIA catchment area each week, and members can also report tags themselves.
Private Property Debris Pick-up
The service is provided through Mission Possible Enterprises. The program operates Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm. They aim for pick-up within 36 hours of receiving a request, however, response time depends on priority, severity, and call volume.
