We are one of 22 Business Improvement Associations in the City of Vancouver. We go by the SBIA for short. We represent over 850 commercial business and property owners across 44 city square blocks from Gore Avenue in the west, Clark Drive in the East, Railway Street in the North and Venables Street to the south.

The People Behind The Scenes
SBIA staff take the strategic plan and make it operational in service to our members. We do this in a number of ways. We create programs that directly serve our business community. We advocate to the City of Vancouver and other stakeholders on the things that matter to our members. We share with the world what makes this place so vibrant and different from anywhere else in Vancouver.
Our Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting is the annual event where our members can learn about what we’ve been working on, weigh in on priorities, and vote on the budget for the following year. This year the AGM will take place on September 19th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

This year the AGM will take place September 24th, 2020 online from 10am-11:30am. The virtual meeting lobby will open at 9:45am. AGM programming will start at 10:00am.
