Having grown up surrounded by literature, magazines, and comics that depict captivating women, artist Mandy Tsung’s impulse was to both emulate and subvert the imagery that informs her view of what it is to be a woman. These Strathcona murals were the first pieces produced by us at Vancouver Mural Festival before we even hosted the actual festival in August 2016. This full building wrap paved the way for even larger and more intimidating projects!
