Mural of three-dimensional architectural features. Mark’s work as an illustrator experimenting with architectural forms worked their way into this mural. His work focused on the process rather than the product with no conceived endpoint determining the form. Instead, he forced a system of perspective onto his pieces which culminated in a cohesive design. Inside of this, he played out narratives that required decoding and interpreting. These Strathcona murals were the first pieces produced by us at Vancouver Mural Festival before we even hosted the actual festival in August 2016. This full building wrap paved the way for even larger and more intimidating projects!
